Dom Pusey is a saxophonist, woodwind player, arranger and educator based Walthamstow, NE London. He works in jazz, pop, studio and show music. Comfortable in a wide range of situations, Dom is a versatile performer, with experience in Jazz, Pop, Rock, Blues, Classical, R&B, Funk Electro-Swing and House.

He has a degree in music performance from the University of Leeds and has studied at the University of North Texas with Brad Leali (Harry Connick Jr., Count Basie Orchestra, Herbie Hancock, Billy Joel).

Dom has appeared on programmes recorded for the BBC and ITV and performed in many top venues around the UK and abroad such as St John Smith’s Square, the Royal Albert Hall and the North Sea Jazz Festival in Rotterdam. He has recently travelled the world as resident woodwind player on Cunard’s flagship vessel, the Queen Mary 2.

Dom enjoys a varied performing career as a saxophonist and woodwind player. Current engagments include being the in house arranger and saxophonist with the Itchy Feet House Band, Motor City Revue and The Vibrations. He also appears alongside DJs for Itchy Feet Events and is a deputy for the National Youth Jazz Orchestra (NYJO).

Dom maintains a busy schedule teaching saxophone, piano and clarinet. His years of performing experience have given him the necessary perspective to teach a wide variety of styles at all levels from beginner to advanced.
